WEEK ONE - June 16 to june 22

Start at Mt Rushmore Brewing Company, where good times flow,

Cross the bridge like the three billy goats gruff, nice and slow.

Spot mile marker 44, your journey’s not through,

Walk 39 steps more to find the lone tree in view.

Look in the grass below, search with care,

The treasure you seek is hidden right there.

WEEK TWO - June 23 to June 29

Park near search and rescue, ready for a quest,

Walk toward Hill City, following the rest.

From the little stop sign, take 220 steps on track,

Search high and low for a quartz throne, no looking back.

If you see the football field sign, you’ve gone too far,

Take a seat on the throne, reach down, and there’s your star.

WEEK THREE - June 30 to july 6

Start near Murphy Auto or Black Hills Credit Union’s site,

Between Crook Street and Mt. Rushmore Road, keep your goal in sight.

At mile marker 45, look east and take stock,

What you seek is hidden, wedged between the rocks.

WEEK FOUR - July 7 to july 13

Start your journey at Harbach Park’s gate,

Find the trailhead, don’t be late.

Seek where Chief and Soldier stand on guard,

By Chief Sitting Bull, search hard.

Under the rock at his feet, you’ll find

The hidden treasure, so keep this clue in mind.

WEEK FIVE - July 14 to july 20

Between the bridge and 8th Street, take a stroll,

Hear babbling French Creek to the south, let it guide your soul.

Face directly north, 9th Street’s in your view,

Turn around to find a big metal box waiting for you.

Look around closely, but don’t wander too far down,

Your treasure is hidden somewhere near the ground.

WEEK SIX - July 21 to July 27

Pass by Custer Veteran’s Memorial, give a salute with pride,

Continue to the water fill-up station, but don’t go too far aside.

Near the horse corral, take a seat,

Look around carefully to find the treasure you seek.
