South Dakota Humanities Scholar Molly Barari will lead a community discussion on this gripping novel at the Library on Sunday, September 26th at 3:00 pm. A demonstration class introducing the art of Dutch oven cooking. You will learn:
- How to cook anything in a Dutch oven
- How to choose and care for a Dutch oven
- What equipment is needed
- How to prep your coals, oven, and area
- How to manage the temperature of the oven
- How to adapt any recipe to the Dutch oven
After the class, you will get to eat the food prepared in the Dutch ovens during the demonstration.
Please bring a lawn chair.
