Summer Reading Program — Imagine Your Story

Register for our Summer Reading Program here or download the ReadSquared app to your device. Log your reading online and earn points for each minute you read. Cash your points in for prizes in the Prize Store, and pick them up at the library. You can earn extra points by completing Missions on the ReadSquared site/app. Several of these Missions involve “Take & Make” kits that you will pick up at the library throughout the summer. We’re making some changes to our circulation policies and copy/printer fees to better serve you. Here’s what you need to know:

Circulation Policies Update:

In response to feedback from our valued patrons and to better manage our library resources, we’ve revised our circulation policies. Previously, materials were automatically renewed up to two times beyond the initial checkout term. However, we’ve adjusted this policy to provide one courtesy renewal, provided there are no existing holds on the item. This change is intended to ensure fair access to materials and reduce instances of overdue items. Should you require additional time with your borrowed items, please don’t hesitate to contact us for assistance with renewals.

Copy/Printer Fees Update:

We have updated our copy and printer fees. Black and white prints cost 10 cents per side and color prints are available for $1 per side. This adjustment is necessary to cover our printer contract costs while maintaining affordability for our patrons.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we implement these updates. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to our staff.
Wireless access is offered 24/7 from the library parking lots. No password is required at Custer. The Hermosa password is Welcome123.
